we had a great night at home...the 4 of us. Makes me appreciate those nights even more. We are back in the hospital and Jayden is getting a shunt put in. It is like the drain tube that was on the outside of his head, now strung through his body to his stomach to help the fluid drain from his head because it is not doing it naturally. He has been throwing up and still not himself, so back we came and here we are, except now we are in room 321 :) also, he experienced a bit of leaking from the site which is not good.
He is doing better than expected returning....but they put the iv in his "writing" hand and so he can't write. I told him that they taped a shovel to his hand.
Surgery scheduled for 4 today and an overnight in the cards for sure....Hopefully, we can go home tomorrow....
....heard that before!
