January: WinterXtreme X2

January always brings about winterXtreme, and now my latest title at Immanuel is Director of Student Community, I officially plan retreats- which also means I attend retreats. So-two weekends in January are spent going to Timber-lee Christian camp. The first trip up is with our Junior High group, the second trip is with our High School Ministry. We had about 65 kids in each group attend and as always, it was a great time. The weekend Junior High went the weather was so warm the lake wasn’t safe to go on! That was a first. It is always so nice to get out and see the kids in a different environment for an extended amount of time. The girl talk with the high schoolers tops the list for me this year! Choo-Choo and rollin’ in chocolate, ladies!!! Another treat was the nature center. Jay Jenison is usually behind the camera….so it was fun being able to catch a few photos of his family, too!
