The team of volunteers started digging and pouring the foundation for our new, handicapped home near family! After two years of our friend and families efforts, they were able to raise $100,000 to start the project. Obviously, this will not complete the home, but we hope to get it framed and closed up before winter, and work on the rest as the money is available. I have to fight tears when I am over at the site. Watching all these men volunteer their time and work so hard for us is humbling. What a sacrifice. They have stepped away from their families, their lives, to help us and I will forever be grateful.
