Baby 2# heart beats
Baby 2 update- We had our first listen at the heart beat and the heart rate was 165. Old wives tale says that would be a girl...we will hopefully see on March 4 at 3:30...at our first ultrasound!

Baby Number 2
Here is the update on Baby Boyce #2
I am 12 weeks and will be going in for an appointment January 5 to hear the heartbeat for the first time. I have nausea most of the day and am medicated so I don't puke....So I am looking forward to the second trimester! Nughts are the worst but so far, I am gaining weight and still able to do stuff! Here is an early pic of me and I will get another one up soon! Jut thinks it's a girl and I think it's a boy...either way...it's our last!

Christmas
Christmas was a blast! We had the Bakkan Clan here at our home for the first time Christmas Eve! We are 25 strong and counting! GOT LEFSE?Then, Christmas morning we opened presents here with Jayden (he's finally getting the hang of unwrapping) and Stef's folks, then went to Ama's (Jut's mom and dad) and Bubba's and opened more presents and ate a big yummy breakfast! The afternoon was a long nap and then a wonderful dinner back at Ama and Bubba's with the entire Boyce family. It's great too that Stef's folks come out and join in all the action!
We just love being with family!

Christmas in Rockford
Welcome to Christmas, Rockford style! That's right, my wonderful Aunt Nancy came up with the creative idea to have us all wear santa hats...festive, huh!? 
It really was a fun night of spaghetti, Santa (Jayden was freaked out!), presents, an aweful rendition of 12 days of Christmas, and b-i-n-g-o! We also had a chance to see Codie...our old dog that went to live with Uncle John. She seems loved and very happy being the center of attention! We also had a chance to see Stef's cousin, Jason, his wife Pearl, and daughter, Savana. They are from Florida and we don't see them much so that was a treat!

Our 2008 Highlights
Boyce Family News:
Jut is still working at Beach Pump and Well and Stefanie is still at Immanuel Part-time. We continue to help out with HS Youth Ministry. We stayed busy this year with two family weddings, baby showers, work, and traveling.
Our biggest news is that we are expecting another addition to the family around July 15! We don’t know if it’s a boy or girl, but we are excited to add to our family! Stefanie is already sick...so pray for no pre-term labor or bed rest this time!
Jayden is doing well. He is two and an active thing. He is about 37 lbs. now and takes after his father’s nickname “bam-bam”. He is still a curious boy. He loves books, being outside, shoveling, playing basketball, Cheetos, and Handy Manny (a tv show).
